Model Use: This model was constructed before the groundbreaking ceremony and used to kick off an extensive fund raising campaign. The $51 million facility will encompass the existing football coaches' building along with the Gallagher-Iba arena. The OSU Athletic Center is scheduled for completion for the 2000-2001 basketball season.
Model Details: Buildings;Three distinct areas combined for the complex plus a detailed section of the adjacent stadium and a nearby apartment complex.
Statue; Hand carved to match existing statue on premises.
Parking; TV parking lot complete with model vehicles and equipment. All parking lots are striped; 80+ model cars.
People; Approximately 100 hand painted students and visitors. This lends a feeling of movement, flow and scale.
Special Features; All exterior surfaces and visible details were etched in-house to exact specifications given on the provided CAD elevations and drawings.
